My friend Siobhan has been making small acrylic paintings of roosters for the past year or so. She is closing in on fifty of them, with more to come. They are for sale at her etsy site at very reasonable prices.
Even if you can't buy one of them, it's worth your internet time to look at the images, which are inventive and funny. And make sure to read the "biographies" of each rooster.
