This is a piece I did for a show in Cincinnati. The idea was to re-work an LP album cover by drawing on it, painting on it, or otherwise manipulating it. I chose The Misty Miss Christy, an LP by June Christy from 1956. My image involved collage, monoprint, colored pencil, and some other media that I'm forgetting now. I hope I didn't make a visual mockery of this great album!

There are some wonderful textures within this piece.
Also, I like the symmetrical qualities you've created.
John - this turned out really well. Makes me wish I did one myself.
Thanks, Jeremy. I started to feel like it was going in the wrong direction, so I mailed it off before I ruined it.
